How to Chop - Parsley and Cilantro   

  1. Cut or pluck the leaves off a bunch of parsley or cilantro.
  2. Stack the leaves.
  3. Chop into smaller pieces by rocking your knife across the pile.

Plants like cilantro and parsley grow well at cooler temperatures. They can even grow indoors all year long.

How to Chop - Basil and Mint

  1. Pull basil or mint leaves off the stem.
  2. Stack basil or mint leaves on top of each other.
  3. Roll up the stack of leaves.
  4. Cut across the rolled-up stack of leaves. 

Tip: Don't let your mint and basil go bad. Put chopped leaves in ice cube trays, cover with water, and freeze!
