This sample coupon includes:
1. Manufacturer’s coupon: This means the coupon can be used anywhere the product is sold.
Some coupons are created by certain stores. If it is a store coupon, this section of the coupon will have the store’s name instead. Then you can only use the coupon for product at the store listed.
2. Expiration date: The coupon must be used on or before the date listed.
3. Coupon’s value: The information in this section tells you how much the coupon will save you or its value.
4. Description of the value: This part explains what you must buy in order to benefit from the coupon’s value.
5. The fine print: Usually this part includes information for the store. Sometimes there is extra information in this space that states some items are not included.
6. Barcode: This helps the cashier scan the coupon’s information in the computer.
7. Barcode: This helps the cashier apply the discount for the product to your total bill.
8. Image: This should show the product you can get with the discount. It is always a good idea to read the fine print because what is offered and what is pictured is NOT always the same. The detail of the coupon’s value is in the description NOT the image.
