It is easier to track your child’s milestones when you have a strong support team! Your support team may include some or all of the following:
All these people will be spending time with your child and noticing how they are growing.

When you know what milestones to look for, you can share that information with your child’s caregivers.
Your support team can offer you an extra set of eyes to watch for new skills and abilities.
Your child’s health care provider will already be watching for your child’s milestones. If your child already attends preschool, their teacher will be doing the same. When you can, check in with these professionals. Ask them what they have noticed about your child’s development! Ask your child’s health care provider for a schedule of recommended screenings. At these screenings, the health care provider will be looking for specific milestones for your child’s age.

Track milestones from your phone!
CDC’s free Milestone Tracker app is available in English and Spanish on Apple and Android phones. Search the App Store or Google Play to download. The app will give you access to milestone checklists for your child’s age. As your child grows, you can easily keep track of their milestones using the app. You can also share the results with anyone, including your child’s health care provider. This will make it easier to discuss milestones with your child’s doctor at well visits!
